More than 13 years after the launch of former first lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign, she’s continuing her focus on children’s nutrition and health by co-founding a startup public benefit company, PLEZi Nutrition. The company is part of Obama’s continued mission to improve childrens’ nutrition in America.
As part of Plezi, and its accompanying blog Nothing to Sugarcoat, Obama has assembled a “Kitchen Cabinet” of advisers made up of women who are experts in parenting, public health, equity, and nutrition. She shared a video of the Kitchen Cabinet discussing PLEZi’s work and the motivation behind it.
