Kendra comes to Maya Feller Nutrition as an early career dietitian after practicing psychology for a number of years.
Her primary interests are centered around disordered eating and helping people develop or re-establish positive relationships with food and their bodies. Kendra has PhD in Nutrition and has conducted research in a variety of areas, including the impact of learning styles on academic performance to identifying cardiovascular disease risk factors in African American female caretakers with young children. She enjoys spin classes, yoga , Zumba, reading Sci-Fi, and traveling. Her personal and professional interests are crucial to her ongoing development as a dietitian as they motivate her to continue learning and supporting the health and well-being of people of color and marginalized communities.
