Nutrition Counseling

Live the life you were meant for with practical and sustainable shifts to your health and wellbeing.

Maya and her team work with clients one-on-one in Brooklyn, New York, and offer nationwide virtual nutrition coaching to help clients find food-based nutrition solutions that support diabetes, cardiovascular conditions including high blood pressure and high cholesterol, autoimmune conditions, and neurological conditions.

Patient-Centered

Your lived experience will be honored and you will be invited to take part in developing your nutrition care plan

Anti-Bias

We are conscious that individuals possess identities that are not singular but rather nuanced and intersectional. We value and respect each person’s experience and perspective.

Culturally Humble

We understand that our individual experiences, values and beliefs as providers impact how we work with patients; therefore, we practice self-reflection, active listening and respect. We center our clients and meet them where they are.

During your preliminary visit, we collect a comprehensive health history and discuss your current nutrition pattern as well as any conditions that may be present. Using this information, we will begin to work with you and jointly develop a nutrition plan that is tailored to your individual needs.
